porsche 356 ///

Ah, the 356, Porsche‘s first production car back in 1948. Cool enough for Mr. Dean in the ’50s and still gorgeous today. I would like a convertible in black and chrome, please.

ural-t ///

The amazing long-take chase scene in the new Tintin movie made me realize that life would be so much more complete if it included a motorcycle with sidecar. And so, the Ural-T has been officially added to the wishlist. GregoryWest loved-ones, please consider this your formal notice that there are exactly 338 days left until Christmas. Thank you!

vespa gts 300 ///

Speaking of hopping around seaside roads on a Vespa, I’d like it to be the GTS 300 in a beautiful Midnight Blue. Topping out at 80mph and 70mpg (crown princess of unspecified country optional), I’d be going fast and gone for a while.

mini paceman ///

Along with the Fiat 500, my other favourite from this year’s Detroit Auto Show is the MINI Paceman concept. A three-door-hatch evolution of MINI‘s five-door Countryman crossover, with a John Cooper Works conversion which squeezes 211 horses into this beautifully punchy stable.

fiat 500 ///

It looks like the updated Fiat 500 (or the Cinquecento, which is way more fun to say … especially when holding one of those tiny espressos) will be appearing in North American showrooms in 2011. My pops used to drive one of the originals when I was a kid, and I would love to get behind the wheel of my own Cinquecento now that my feet can reach the pedals.
